I am a Eugene, Oregon based photographer. My interest in capturing images arose originally from mountaineering and my love of the outdoors. As is true for many photographers, my start in photography was to convey to others my experiences in, and the beauty of the wilderness. I have also enjoyed capturing images of people and cultures in my travels. This love has continued to nurture me throughout my 27 year career as a Medical Doctor specializing in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care.
The images here have been created using Nikon cameras and lenses. I originally used Kodak and Fuji films. For the last 7 years, I have photographed with Nikon digital cameras, including the D100, D200, D2x, and recently the D700.
